Lets say goodbye to 2013

For many 2013 has been a year that some are happy to say goodbye to. We have experienced challenges from all directions. Some have lost love ones, while others have lost their jobs. Some have deal with body part replacement, we have seen knees, shoulders, hips and overall general bad health for a few. We have been blessed as a church overall to see new believers come to know Jesus. God continues to bring new "body parts" to His church family. We have come to realize that God works with all people in giving them special gifts that can be used to glory Him. This year we had an outstanding vacation bible school with the help of a new team of people that God brought to us. We have seen two couples step forward to commit to leadership positions in both the children and the youth. I have been blessed as Senior Pastor to have God bring men and women who are anxious and ready to step along side me as we take on the many different facets of leading God's children to a mature relationship with Him. I am looking forward to the future and excited about what God has put on my heart for 2014. I will begin the year by looking at God's Amazing Grace and what it means to each and everyone of us. So often I find that people seem to understand God's grace to them, but fall short in offering grace to others. I am being challenged by God to write a series for 6 to 7 weeks to help people understand the true meaning of grace. It is my desire to keep my blog up to date in 2014 and it would help me if you would acknowledge you read my words and be an encouragement to know your out there. God Bless you and may you have a healthy and prosperous NEW YEAR. Pastor Bill
